To make sure you get the maximum of our platform service, we highly recommend you to pay attention to your website spots settings as well as code placed on your website.

Traffic source Id

We recommend introducing Sub Id parameter to our code/link which would let you split the traffic sources and control for performance with much higher efficiency withing AdSpyglass platform (for example monitor CTR by traffic source to check its quality or define Popunder behavior based on source nature). Thus, you will see Income per traffic source by Ad Network and may decide on further traffic attraction strategy. Also, Sub Id is widely used by Ad Networks for bidding strategy optimization on their side.

For example, you can use it to mark your social, search, display ads traffic, or identify the referrer domain. You can go with XXXXXX format where X is a number from 0 to 9. Some Ad Networks may have specific requirements for parameter settings so we recommend you get familiar with their specification before introducing Sub Id. For example, ExoClick recognizes Sub Id from 100000 to 999999 values range.

The easiest way to set the Sub Id is by using your Website engine tools. You may also introduce it directly to your Website code.

For example, it's super easy to do with the KVS tool. You just need to go to the Website settings tab and introduce Sub Id as shown in the screenshot below. You may use any other name but it should be the same in case you already have any traffic source marked.

Please note that you would need to guide the traffic you buy to your site link with &subid1=... within parameters to make it work.

Thus, for Banner, Direct Link, In-Video, and Slider ads we have added Sub Id parameter - %subid1% to the link as shown in the example below so that the traffic sources breakdown may be tracked in our system and passed to Ad Networks:

<!-- Ads Managed by -->
<iframe class="na" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="300" height="250"
sandbox="allow-scripts allow-popups allow-forms allow-same-origin"

For Popunder, Interstitial, IM, In-Page Push ads we have added Sub Id parameter - %subid1% to the code as shown in the example below:

<!-- Ads Managed by -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="//"
data-spots="17937" data-tag="asg" data-subid1="%subid1%"></script>

You know it well how correct usage of keywords attracts the audience to your website. The same way, keywords have a very relevant effect on ads targetting by Ad Networks for ads efficiency maximization. To boost your traffic monetization, we suggest you adding our Keywords parameter to the code.

For example, your website specializes in videogames. Introducing the keyword "videogames" would get more targeting with videogames theme, and as a result, higher website visitor activity and more demand from Advertisers.

Thus, for Direct and Vast Link, and Banner ads you would just need to introduce the Keywords parameter as shown in the example below:

<!-- Ads Managed by -->
<iframe class="na" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="300" height="250"
sandbox="allow-scripts allow-popups allow-forms allow-same-origin"

!!! We recommend you to introduce keywords based on your website page content.

With other formats (Popunders, Interstitial at the moment), our system will extract the Keywords information from the 'meta' tag in the header of your website so please make sure to describe the content of your website there:

<meta name="keywords" content="video,games">

We do also have a 'meta' tag asg-kw available in case you would like to introduce any additional information to be for targetting purposed on Ad Networks side:

<meta name="asg-kw" content="mainstream,sport">

Please follow our Installation Instructions before placing the code on your website. You will find all the relevant information when all the settings are completed and the code is ready to be placed at </> Get codes tab.

When importing creatives from your personal Ad Network accounts within the Ad mediation tab, you need to make sure you set all our macros in place to pass relevant information to Ad Networks. You will find the macros list when adding creative. All the macros are not required but would definitely improve overall activity.

Here is a shortcut of Ad Networks parameters which should be added to the code with AdSpyglass macros %SUB1% and %KW% in place:
