Ad Networks as a Data Source for you Media Kit

You can consider using Ad Networks as the most quick-to-setup data source for your Media Kit.

This decision will help you to get your Media Kit established most quickly. You won't need to add AdSpyglass codes to your website.

Initial Preparations (skip the step if you're a well-established AdSpyglass user)

Even though Ad Networks as a data source is recommended as the fastest one, you'll need to make some effort to use it for your media kit (if you haven't made it yet).

Ensure you've followed all of these steps and completed your account for Media Kit creating:

Getting Started

First of all, log in to your account and expand the "Websites" dropdown. Then, go to the "Media Kit" section and click on "Create New Media Kit." It will bring you to the media kit creation contextual menu.

Media Kit Configuration: Website

Let's start with choosing a website you like to create a media kit.

Just expand the "Website" dropdown and choose the website you want to use.

Please note that you can create only one media kit for each website you have. You'll always be able to open the menu and apply any changes to the already established media kit.

Choosing Data Source

After the website is picked up, let's choose your press kit's data source.

As we stated previously, in this guide, we'll walk you through the configuration of the Media Kit when its data is pulled from Ad Networks.

That's why let's take "Ad Networks" in the Data Source dropdown.

Adding a branded logo to Media Kit

Now, let's make your Media Kit customized. Just choose the file you want to use as a logo from your device.

Saving and publishing

After completing the previous steps and making sure that everything is ready to go live, there will be just one more step.

Check the "Published" checkbox and press "Save Changes".

Note: Your changes will be applied to Media Kit 30 minutes after saving. That's why there is no need to worry if your data is not showing right after the first publication. Just wait for another 30 minutes, and everything will be working smoothly.

Adding Media Kit to your website

As soon as you ensure that everything is working as expected, you may want to make your media kit visible for advertisers.

One of the most popular ways of adding a media kit to your website is a link in the footer section.

Let's use this way since it is the most wide-spread one.

Here's the screenshot of a website's footer before the media kit is added:

Let's create a new
element in the "Website" column.

We suggest calling it "Advertise With Us" as it is a well-known and distinctive title for the section, but feel free to use any header you want.

After the
element is created, you need to add a link to your Media Kit in order to let advertisers actually visit it.

You can copy your Media Kit link from the contextual menu where you've configured your kit initially.

When the link is added to the
element, save your changes, and upload them to the server.

Now let's what we've got:

Perfect! We've just created a Media Kit using AdSpyglass as a data source and added it to the website!
